We’re HackNotice– we provide our clients with a comprehensive threat awareness platform to prevent account takeover and fraud, while building security habits and a culture of security. We’re looking for passionate, dedicated folks who want to join us in the fight against cybercrime. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to continue to expand HackNotice. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting potential customers and connecting them with someone from the sales team. You will help boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience sourcing leads, and reaching out to potential customers. You will use your communication skills to close meetings with potential customers. You will also help the account executive with scheduling. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Business Development Representative responsibilities include:

  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Business Development Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) results

Requirements and skills

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, or similar role

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
